We take our music seriously at The Orchard. Our goal is to be the best live music venue in Bali, with local and international artists playing in a unique and intimate setting. We have such great relationships with local and overseas bands that they want to play here – while also offering an award-winning restaurant and bar that allows you to experience established and upcoming live bands with an atmosphere similar to the great venues of days gone by – The Cavern Club in Liverpool, England, The Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles, The Basement in Sydney (now sadly closed), Australia or The Kings Arms in Auckland (also closed), New Zealand.
Live music is our passion, and our aim from day one is to bring the small venue experience for bands and artists to play to and connect with a music-loving crowd. By looking after every band, artist and guest musician that appears on our stage we have forged relationships that are enduring, making life-long friends, breaking new artists and providing an intimate forum for international and established singers, songwriters, musicians and bands to play in front of an audience where the connection with the audience is immediate and close-up.
The Orchard Hall of Fame:
Our music team and the hosts we collaborate with on scheduled music nights and regular jam sessions literally music junkies. In four years of opening, we have already been nominated for numerous awards, both in Bali and across Indonesia as the venue musicians want to play at, and the unique experience this gives to our audience.
We are a destination venue for everyone who loves and appreciates live bands performing in a pub, not a stadium. We are featured on Bali Holiday Secrets website for being the best live music venue in Bali.
The Orchard has become so popular we host secret gigs for international musicians and bands who want to play live in front of their audience – not a football field away.
This is, of course, an amazing venue to experience not only new live bands but the surprise of a constant flow of globally-recognised musicians who love nothing more than being invited to play on The Orchard’s stage for a close-up crowd like they used to before graduating to arenas and stadiums.
