Unb’rocken were formed in Ubud, Bali when two friends got together to explore their passion for music. Gorenk (Voice, guitar, harmonica) and Komang (lead guitar) were quickly joined by Tikus (bass guitar) and Ocha (drums and percussion) to form what is now one of the most sought-after bands on the live music scene.

Beginning their career with regular spots at local music venues in and around Ubud; they soon began to get a name for themselves. Owners of the most prestigious music venues such as The Orchard Bar & Restaurant, Jazz Cafe and The Laughing Buddha Bar invited them to headline on a regular basis.

With regular high energy performances of blues, rock and funk which continue to impress both locals and tourists alike, they were soon asked to appear at leading music festivals such as Bali Blues Festival, Sanur Village Festival and Lombok Blues Festival.

In 2017 they began working on material for their first album. With 11 original songs and 1 cover song (John Lennon’s Imagine) in their back pockets, they entered the studio and began recording. In the summer of 2018 “Unbroken” the album was released: it continues to sell around the world.

Currently the band are working on their second album, and undertaking their first tour outside of Indonesia. Exciting times for this young enigmatic band.
