Without the generosity of the people listed below, many families would have gone hungry, as there is no social safety net in Bali. One of the things we learned while taking donations over the bar at The Orchard after the horrendous earthquakes that killed many people and left many more homeless and without essential supplies is that we have a network that can buy supplies cheaply and get them directly to where they need to go.

We’re on a mission to help those in our local community most in need by delivering bags of rice and fresh vegetables. The Orchard Bar & Restaurant is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so we’ve turned it into a way-station for the collection and distribution of sacks of rice and fresh vegetables to the families that need it most.
